MSTP

The creation of the Manpower Skills Training Program (MSTP), initiated by Honorable Josemarie L. Diaz, the then first councilor, is an innovative Technical Vocational project in partnership with TESDA-ISAT and TESDA-Isabela is a six-month course to develop vocational skills on a Saturday class with Out-of-School Youth of the City of Ilagan as primary beneficiaries.

In partnership with TESDA-ISAT, the Manpower Skills Training Program (MSTP) of the City Government of Ilagan offers 16 techvoc, livelihood skills training this October and November. Short courses and training sessions can be made available in barangays upon request. To schedule and select preferred courses, please reach out to the Special Projects Office located on the 2nd floor of City Hall.

Saturday classes for MSTP cover a range of courses including Bread and Pastry Production, Carpentry, Cookery, Electrical Installation and Maintenance, Food Processing, Housekeeping, Masonry, Organic Agriculture Production, Motorcycle and Small Engine Services, Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Theoretical Driving Course, and Practical Driving. These classes take place at TESDA-ISAT. Upon completion of the training, all trainees will undergo NCII assessment.
